So, to understand how Elitewash was born, let’s know about its founder, Amir first.
Amir's personal journey as a techie dates back to 2016. No, he doesn't have an engineering or an MBA degree, but he broke into the industry without either of them!
Starting out as a graphic designer, he self-learned coding and built a clientele of high-net-worth individuals for his own firm, making a mark for himself entirely on his own.
But guess what? He isn’t a monotonous guy. As an admirer of classy footwear, Amir spotted a problem while living alone in Jaipur:
Dirty shoes. And honestly, who has the time to clean them or take them to a dry cleaner? He realized he couldn't be the only one facing this issue. That’s when the research began!
From gyms to cafes to clubs, there was this one question Amir asked people:
“How do you clean your shoes?”
Fun fact: Many didn’t even know that their premium shoes needed professional dry cleaning, not just a regular wash, which could be devastating for delicate materials.
So there it was—a problem and people with the same issue. A solution was needed.
Amir quickly developed Elitewash, researching, coding day and night, creating business plans, and streamlining execution to make professional shoe cleaning more accessible to the people of India.
